I am selling two MacBook Pro laptops and two iPads, and giving away a bunch of much older Mac equipment.
First, what I’m selling:
MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2008) – http://apple-history.com/mbp_early_08
2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
GeForce 8600M GT 256MB
Upgraded to 4GB memory and a 750GB 7200rpm hard drive
Comes with Speck plastic shell, 85W Apple power supply, and battery
$450
MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2007) – http://apple-history.com/mbp_mid_07
2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
GeForce 8600M GT 128MB
Upgraded to 4GB memory and a 320GB 7200rpm hard drive
Comes with Speck plastic shell, 85W Apple power supply, and battery
$420
The MacBook Pro laptops are in excellent condition and have good batteries. I’ve taken very good care of them and they have been protected in plastic shells their whole lives. They are cleaned off and ready to use, running the latest version of Mac OS (10.10.3).
iPad (3rd generation) – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPad_(3rd_generation)
WiFi + 4G, 64GB, black
$250
The iPad is also in excellent condition, having been in a case all its life. It has a good battery. It is cleaned off and ready to use, running the latest version of iOS (8.3).
iPad (1st generation) – http://apple-history.com/ipad
Wifi+3G, 32GB
$100
It’s in pristine condition because it’s in a black leather Mickey case from the Disney Store (same one as at http://www.disneydreaming.com/2011/01/07/disney-store-mickey-mouse-ipad-cases/) which protects the entire device (including the screen) and also works as a stand. It’s running iOS 5.1.1 (the latest it can use). I’m including the case as well as a 30 pin to USB cable. Charger not included, but you can use an iPhone USB charger with it.
Now for the stuff I’m giving away. I have some very, very old Mac computers and accessories to get rid of, but it seems a shame to bring them to Best Buy for recycling. Note that this stuff is VERY VERY OLD. If you’re looking for a computer to go online for email or web or Microsoft Word, THESE WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU. But if you’re a collector or you appreciate vintage computing, or if you want to turn them into bookends or a fishtank, then you’re welcome to them. So far I’ve pulled together an eMac, an iMac G4, a PowerBook G3, and a PowerBook 5300s, along with some old Apple mice and keyboards. Again, this stuff is NO LONGER USEFUL. Good only for a hobbyist or a collector.
